Christmas 2010

 

Chloe had a great Christmas. She got lots more toys (for me to have to clean up) and a Barbie car that she loves!

Seattle to visit Lala & Zachy

 

We had such a great time visiting Lala and Zachy at their new home in Whidbey island! When we got to her house Chloe said "mama, we're in the forest!" It is so beautiful there and I can't wait to go back! Chloe had a blast riding the ferry, going to the aquarium, playing with zachy and having lala time.

A-MAZ-ING!! This was one of the coolest places I have ever seen!! I loved it! We didn't have a lot of time so we only got to see just a little bit of it, I can't wait to go back and spend a few days buying fresh produce and fish!

Christmas tree huntin'

 

We went to a Christmas tree farm and searched high and low for the 'perfect' tree. It's so much more fun to cut your own tree down than have to get it from a lot on the side of the road.

Seattle Aquarium

 

We went to the aquarium and it was so neat! Chloe loved touching the starfish and she even got to feed a sea urchin! She was so excited she kept running around and saying "COOL!!" and "oh my goodness! You see that mama!?"

Santa Clause

 

So this year was much better than last year when she screamed her head off when she saw Santa, but she still isn't so sure about sitting on the lap of an old scary looking dude. So we compromised and she sat in front of Santa for a picture.

So much fun this year now that Chloe is old enough to know what's going on. She has actually been really gentle with the ornaments and it's "her job" to turn off the tree at night. =)

Kansas Zoo

 

We went to the zoo! I know, I know, you are probably thinking the same thing I was "a zoo in the middle of all these wheat fields!?" Yep! And it was a really cool zoo! Chloe wanted to pet the "kitty kitty" aka the cougar and jaguar. And she loved the orangutan.

Visit to Lala's in Kansas

 

 

 

 

We went to Kansas for Thanksgiving to visit Lala! Chloe was so happy to see her and Zachy. She kept saying "it's lala! and Zachy!" She wouldn't stop giving him hugs that night at dinner.

Justice's birthday

We went to Justice's birthday party today and had a blast. There was a petting zoo, pony rides and a blow up obstacle course that Chloe played on with Mila and Greyson.

Chloe was tucking her baby in and then decided that she wanted to cover papa up with every blanket she has.

 

Hello Kitty!

 

 

We went to Town Square yesterday to play at the park and got a surprise...Hello Kitty was there!! I wish I could have caught Chloe's expression on her face when she saw her. She was so excited and could'nt wait to give her a hug.

 

 

 

 

Trick or treat

We took Chloe to the church down the street for trick or treating. We love going there because they have all these fun games that no matter if you win or lose you get candy and tons of fun carnival rides! Chloe got her first handful and decided she couldn't wait and sat down to enjoy her kitkat. She also has no fear and wants to ride all the rides...we're still trying to get the concept that you have to wait in line and you also have to get off the ride when it is finished, two things that Chloe does not like and would therefore cry every single time. Now if I can just resist the temptation to eat her candy...

Pumpkin Patch

We took Chloe to the pumpkin patch and she loved it! We jumped in the bounce house, went in the 'petting zoo', rode the swings and spinning bathtubs (which mama almost tossed her cookies on) and went down the big slide about a hundred times. We had so much fun we're going back tomorrow with Lyla and Maddox!

Mickey Mouse Magic Show

 

 

 

We went to see Mickey Mouse magic show today with Maddox and Civia! The first 5 minutes the kids were interested and then the stadium chairs were much more interesting. =) $50 later in popcorn, churros and Minnie mouse snow cones....it was well worth it though. I had fun watching the show!
